This document sets out the terms of participation in Sydney’s Safe and Sound Insulation competition (the "Competition").

  1. The promoter of this Competition is Safe and Sound Insulation (the "Promoter") (ABN 91102487454), PO Box 6247 North Ryde, 2113, New South Wales, Australia.
  2. Entry to the Competition is open to residents of Sydney, New South Wales only. An entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and any person associated with the Competition, and any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s), are not eligible to enter.
  3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter's website (if any) form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  4. Entry into the Competition is free upon purchase of insulation installation by Promoter.
  5. Multiple entries may only be made if the person commissions Safe and Sound as per Clause 6, to complete more than one job.
  6. The Competition opens at 5:00am EST on Sunday 20 September 2009 and closes 17:00pm Thursday 10 December 2009 ("Competition Period"). Any entry received after the expiry of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
  7. The winner will be notified by phone within 21 days of promotion closing date. Details of winner will also be published on promoter’s website: sasinsulation.com.au
  8. Should the winner be unable to be contacted 3 months after draw date then an unclaimed prize draw will be completed. Details of this will be noted on the promoters website (sasinsulation.com.au)
  9. To enter the Competition, you must:
    1. correctly provide all details to sales team on the day of quotation
    2. Agree to purchase insulation
    3. Agree to have insulation installed by Promoter
    4. Proceed with above agreements as contracted
  11. Any cancellation of the agreement to install or supply insulation will deem the entry into the competition invalid.
  12. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrants.
  13. The prize is as follows: The two Major Prize Winners will receive a gift certificate to stay at the Swissotel Sydney. This prize allows the recipient to stay for two nights for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), breakfast and an adjoining children’s room. The prize is not transferable and certificates cannot be sold.
  14. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that the prizes become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.
  15. You warrant that:
    1. all details provided with your quotation are true and accurate;
    2. you have all necessary rights and licences to grant the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions;
    3. the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in these Terms and Conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and you will indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of these warranties.
  16. You agree that the Promoter may use your entry and any personal details provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter.
  17. If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter's conduct of the Competition or the Promoter's ability to deliver the prize/s to the prize winner/s of the Competition, the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner.
  18. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  19. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize or damage to any prize in transit.
